Depression often leads to isolation – you may not feel able to go out, friends and family may find it hard to cope and do not stay in touch.
Depression Alliance actively seeks to minimise the isolation people experience when depressed. Many of our services are designed to offer people affected by depression the opportunity to share experiences and coping strategies with others in similar situations. Our self-help groups, pen-friend scheme and on line forum DAtalk which provides mutual support and understanding in a non-judgemental, confidential environment.
This section of our website is dedicated to encouraging visitors to the site to share their own personal experiences with others.
