We know that 25% of people will experience mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder (sometimes known as manic depression). This means that 1 in 4 people's lives will be badly affected by their moods and feelings.

We need people to take part in the Radiant Project , which is looking at how bipolar disorder can be inherited. We will want to interview you and ask you to provide a blood sample.

If we can find out more about the causes of bipolar disorder, we will be in a better position to help many people with mental health difficulties.

Any travel expenses will be reimbursed
This study is based at the Institute of Psychiatry, part of King's College London . It is part of ongoing academic research, funded by the Medical Research Council and GlaxoSmithKline.
