Thank you for taking our survey – by taking part you’re helping not only yourself, but also others by painting a national picture of the UK’s wellbeing.
So how did you score?  Has it helped you to paint a picture of your wellbeing and think more closely about how you carry out your daily life? Were your answers mostly in the first column, or the second, or the third?

Be kind to yourself
Sometimes life is difficult.  When we feel worried, stressed or unhappy we often don’t feel like doing anything.  It can be hard to decide what to do each day – and often the outcome is doing very little.  But be kind to yourself.  Don’t be frightened to slow down and stop.  Take a break if you need to.  Relax.  If you feel you need more help, speak to your GP.  If you are already receiving support for a mental health problem, take small steps to ensure you are getting the care you need from health professionals, friends, family and work mates.   Taking action to make yourself feel more in control will have a positive effect.  Mix with people, take some exercise, make a list of things to do, join in activities, do things you used to enjoy.  If doing this alone feels too much, ask a friend if they will join you.

Good on you!  You’re managing to keep your life balanced with a good mixture of positive actions.  You probably feel good from taking control of your wellbeing and will be learning positive behaviours to keep you healthy.  But take a look at your scores.  Are there areas that you can work on to push your scores up the wellbeing spectrum?  Small changes can make a big difference.

You are a wellbeing expert!  It doesn’t take us to tell you that you have a great range of strategies, activities and interests that keep you mentally healthy.  Can you support a friend, colleague or family member to join in with things you enjoy?  Are you able to link up with others in your community to spread the message of wellbeing?  Give yourself a pat on the back!
