Through Friends in Need, we support Southwark Residents who’ve been affected by depression & anxiety to: connect, engage and recover. Our network is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives with depression and/or anxiety. The group is based in Southwark and is completely free to join.
To join our network or to find out more, call 07530 241 637 or email our Friends in Need coordinator email@example.com.
As an on and offline service, all Southwark residents over the age of 18 have access to peer support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. www.friendsinneed.co.uk
You can engage in the project in a number of ways including: providing online support; attending offline meet-ups; building relationships with others in similar circumstances; producing content for the Depression Alliance website and; developing your skillset by volunteering to facilitate groups.
At Depression Alliance we embed the 5 Ways to Wellbeing into all elements of our work. As a result, you'll learn practical ways to increase your overall wellbeing, improve resilience and develop sustainable strategies to recover, and maintain recovery, from depression and anxiety.
One of our offline activities is a free weekly self help group from Cambridge House, 1 Addington Square, Camberwell on Wednesdays 7-8pm. Interested? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
