Magic day at Buzzlefest
This weekend, Depression Alliance had a day out to Leigh-on-Sea, to attend the first ever Buzzlefest.
Buzzlefest, has been organised in aid of Depression Alliance by long-time supporter Rob Hubbard. Taking place in the Library Gardens, Leigh-on-Sea’s first children’s festival was nothing short of magical. With decorated trees, bubbles, giant caterpillars, crafts, dancing, baby sensory activities, stories and much, much more.
“That was, without a doubt, THE MOST AMAZING kids festival EVER!!! We all had such a lovely and magical day.All your hard work and stress paid off. Can't wait for Buzzlefest 2016” xxxx
The volunteers organising the festival were professional, friendly and enthusiastic, greeting stall holders and visitors with a smile and tips and advice for the day.
One of my favourite areas was the music space. A piano toplay, drums to hit and giant singing caterpillars to entertain, all surroundedby artistically decorated trees that made the park feel like you had steppedinto an enchanted forest.
It was a hugely successful event and everyone at Depression Alliance would like to say an enormous thank you to Rob and the whole Buzzlefest team for running a truly amazing event this weekend, to the companies who sponsored the event and of course the hundreds of people who attended with their children.
“Thank you for such an amazing afternoon! We all loved it and my little boy didn't want to leave at the end. So well organised and family friendly. Would love to see it back next year”
